OASIS PlayerHost
With PlayerHost casinos can now immediately determine and direct their hosts to greet the most valuable players on the casino floor! Using SECURE1 wireless PDA’s (Personal Digital Assistant) Casino hosts are directed to the players they should greet.
Casino hosts receive real-time player information i.e. as soon as players begin to play. Hosts receive this data via a secure1 wireless link from their PDA’s (running the Windows CE operating system) directly to the OASIS™ server. PlayerHost can be configured to direct the hosts to greet only players that fit a specific rating profile or combination of rating profile and current play activity (see Marketing module for player rating profiles).

Casino host greeting lists are continually updated on their PDA’s (based on a profile) which they use to indicate which of their players they have greeted, by checking a check-box next to the players name on the PDA, they can even make notations about the players they greet!

The PlayerHost module has a real-time host status screen indicating which players have been greeted with a date & time stamp next to the players account, and any notations that have been made by the hosts about a player(s).

With the Player Survey feature, Casinos can use PlayerHost to create quick surveys (surveys are typically very short; no more than 5 questions). Surveys can be automatically sent to the casino hosts via their PDA’s. Hosts can then survey their players using the PDA’s providing the casino with invaluable information about what the most valuable player are wanting.

1) The wireless connections from the PDAs to the wireless access points use industry-standard wireless encryption and authentication. Access points are configured not to broadcast a network ID. They are also configured to accept connections only from pre-authorized MAC addresses. Wireless access to the network is further protected by Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) or Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) technology. Data transmitted between the OASIS™ web server and PDAs are also encrypted by strong 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. These multiple layers of protection ensure the security of wireless access to the OASIS™ data.
