(As simple as 1-2-3-4) Create your own custom Web Reports, and you don’t
have to be a programmer!
With the Web Report Writer wizard, users are guided through a series of easy to
navigate and understand steps in which they select from a wide variety of predefined
data sources. Data sources are “intelligent” groupings of database
tables that have been linked in a way that optimizes the speed of any report that
is created.
Users are able to create their own reports by first
giving it a unique report name and selecting data elements from the data source
i.e. which report columns they want displayed on the report. Next; they can
select which data elements will form the reports groupings i.e. sub-totals
and grand-totals. Next; they can select data element sort orders i.e. the
way in which the data will be sorted. And finally users can select from a
variety of report template layouts, which will give their reports a professional
look and feel.
